Amy started dancing at the age of 3 learning Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Modern Theatre and Tap dance taking exams in these genres up to advanced levels. She studied Contemporary dance at school age 12-18yrs and took part in many productions.
At age 18, Amy decided to pursue her passion for teaching and at the Linda Sweetzer Teacher Training College and achieved her Diploma in Dance Education with the ISTD. Followed by the Acrobatic Arts Level 1 Teachers Certificate in 2017 and in 2018 she completed her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies with the RAD.
In 2017 Amy had the opportunity to live in Austria for 3 years and continued her dance teaching in Salzburg and neighbouring towns in Germany. Whilst there Amy learnt to speak German and enjoyed the opportunity to learn to snowboard!
Amy has had the pleasure of teaching children aged 2-18years and adults in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Creative and Acrobatic classes in the UK, Austria and Germany and loves to share her passion with all of those she teaches.
