Grace Black is a West-Sussex based Contemporary dance artist performing, choreographing and teaching across Surrey and Hampshire. Grace began her dance training at the age of two with the Aspects of Dance Academy from which she pursued her passions to complete a B.A (hons) degree in dance at The University of Chichester. Grace further holds a Masters Degree in Performance Dance: Independent Research, specialising in site-specific dance and notions of place and space.
During her years of training and after, Grace has performed with Refuge Christian Dance, Drift Dance Company and The Dance Movement and has also worked alongside Bettina Strickler, founder of Protein Dance, Leslie Satin, formerly of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Rachel Deadman of The Dance Movement and Alan Vincent of New Adventures. A resident artist with Farnham-based Company, The Dance Movement, Grace is passionate about delivering dance programmes that inspire and empower people to be artistic and expressive.
