Kelsey Hockerday

Kelsey started dancing at the age of 3 studying tap, ballet, modern and musical theatre. At college Kelsey obtained a BTEC in dance and performing arts from Guildford College and her great results lead her to gain a scholarship to train in ballet and contemporary dance at The University of Roehampton, achieving a BA Honors degree in Dance.

Whilst training Kelsey appeared in a number of TV, film, live musical productions and dance shows and since graduating she has focused on developing her skills further by training in the authentic styles of street dance with the ‘Urban Strides’, and was selected to undertake the world’s first government accredited Level 4 Diploma in Performing Arts in Professional Street Dance and Teaching (ADPA).

Kelsey has been teaching since 2011 and continues with regular professional development. She considers herself to be a passionate, enthusiastic and highly experienced teacher, who strives to create a dynamic and enjoyable learning environment for all students and aims to build each individuals confidence and personal dance style.
