Mel Bull

Melanie started dancing at the age of 8 with Kate Simmons (KSD) in Warrington. She remained with the school until graduation at 18. During her time there Melanie gained teaching qualifications in Ballet and Modern and the prestigious Enrico Cecchetti Diploma. She was also a recipient of the Mabel Ryan and Barbara Geohegan Awards. 

Upon graduation Melanie performed with English National Ballet at The Royal Albert Hall in their production of The Sleeping Beauty. 

She then had a change of direction and worked for 3 years in Disneyland Resort Paris. 

Melanie returned to the UK and embarked upon her teaching career, firstly with Chelsea Ballets Schools in London and 

latterly with Susan Handy Dance in Windsor where she stayed for 12 years and gained her Cecchetti Licenciate qualification. She produced and choreographed 5 bi-annual productions for more than 500 students. 

Melanie has recently returned to teaching after a 4 year break to start a family.
