Rachel Palmer

Rachel has been teaching Street Dance since 2001. Upon graduating in dance from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) & inspired by her passion for hip hop music she began teaching street dance in the community in Liverpool. To develop her knowledge and skill set as a teacher Rachel has taken a number of masterclasses & workshops with world class teachers including: Locking: Fred (the realness) Folkes & Tony Go Go; Breaking: Mouse (UK), Pervez (UK) & Lil’ Crazy Legs (USA); Popping: Robert Hylton (UK) & Brahim Bouchelaghem (FR); House: Clara Bajado (FR). Rachel currently lectures choreography to final year students on the Dance: Urban Practice Degree at the University of East London; she is passionate about promoting hip hop culture to the students she teaches and is really happy to be delivering street dance classes with Demeric School of Dance.
