Easter Dance Workshop Review

Easter Dance Workshop Review

We had a fantastic Easter Dance Workshop on Monday 11th – Wednesday 13th April with the students having lots of fun with ‘Encanto’, Commercial Street Dance, Lyrical and Acro.

We thank our Workshop teachers; Georgia Bradwell, Quin Williams, Victoria Barclay & Sophie Coster. The students had a great time and worked incredibly hard and to finally have parents & family members to watch again was a great experience for the students to perform again and trial out new dance styles.

Well done to all of the students again as all the teachers were so impressed with how quickly they picked up routines, their enthusiasm, dedication and hard work throughout the 3 mornings.

Our next Summer Dance Workshops are 25th, 26th & 27th July &   22nd, 23rd, 24th August 2022. Please add the dates to your diaries as spaces are limited.

Before the Easter break Demeric School of Dance was also involved in Weydon’s Danceathon where by the school was raising funds for some exciting new dance studios. We had 2 guest teachers teach Miss Lisa Lee who taught a physical theatrical movement piece as well as Mr Quin Williams also teaching Lyrical Jazz/ Commercial Jazz at which the students thoroughly enjoyed. It was great to see the students adapt and still have lots of energy into the night! Super proud, well done all who took part! A photo is attached below.

We hope to run a Senior Students Dance Workshop later in the term in May, where he will be teaching similar style to the Danceathon with Contemporary/Lyrical Dance as well as some Commercial Dance. Details will be out shortly.
