I hope you’ve had a great half term and finally some sun!!
Just a few notes for this half term:
Thank you to all the children who took part in this year’s Choreography Competition on Sunday 16th February. Our Winners were Sofia Mace & Olivia Rhodes with their dance ”Coppelia” and the Runner up was Lily Jerome with her dance “The Wave”.
Due to quite a few disappointed children who were away due to half term, we may be thinking of holding our Choreography Competition in the Autumn Term so will keep you posted nearer the time. Our Judges this year were Angela Hardcastle and Sarah Haynes. I hope the children enjoyed the afternoon and thank you to the parents for supporting this event.
Ballet Exam Paperwork is out this week ( I apologise I had a few quibbles before half term with the examiner and the timetable hence they weren’t sent out). Please check the times and where your child will have their exams as we have both St.Jones and William Cobbett Junior School. All paperwork will be put in both the changing rooms of the Maltings and the foyer of St.Joan’s for you to check. If your child is also above 14yrs please see ULN and Personal Learner Number.
Please can I have any ULN numbers as soon as possible.
And lastly we are also in the process of having some black zip up hoodies produced with Demeric Logo at £20.00, they will out on sale very shortly.
Please can make sure all children and students wear the correct uniform to class, either Crossovers, Demeric t’shirts or fleeces should be worn in all ballet classes with the Demeric Ballet uniform. Demeric t’shirts or fleeces to Modern and Tap with Demeric Unitard or leotard and tights, Demeric Pink or Black T’shirt and black bottoms for Streetdance Classes.
