It was with enormous pleasure that I stood with my husband in Gostrey Meadow on Saturday, 22nd November and watched pupils of the de Meric School of Dance perform for the Farnham ‘Christmas Switch On”. I can honestly say that the children danced their hearts out and I felt extremely proud of them all. I know only too well that putting on a production such as this will have meant much time given up for the rehearsals and many thanks are due to, Miss Angela Hardcastle, Miss Frankie and Miss Lucy.
It was particularly special for me to see many of my former pupils perform the ballet that Angela Hardcastle had choreographed for me to mark the 50th anniversary of the School. They performed like a professional corps de Ballet wearing their lovely blue tutus!
